Papa Timo is really doing great this post season. Totally worth his qualifying offer.

I mean they have to qualify him. Can't let him walk for nothing.

What a catastrophe that has been.

Jesper Bratt had zero shots last night. Zero.

Also have to qualify him too. Have to think given his holdout/elect arbitration history, he might get moved to free up cap space.

Thats what was so frustrating in the rangers series, by and large we did a pretty good job containing their best players. Their bottom 6 killed ours, and their D gave them more offense then ours also

He's the Swiss Rick Nash these playoffs. He's getting the chances, just not enough will power to score.

Uh Yes I do. He's a reason why the 2014 team couldn't finish off opponents and lost that cup.

Rangers defense is a way bigger problem then people realize. The bottom 4 are arguably all bottom pair level defenseman. None can make a good outlet pass or defend well in their zone. It’s kills the rangers 5v5 play

Ohh I think Schneider and miller have tools to be good second pair defenseman. They just aren’t at all right now. That was an issue in these playoffs. They are in win now mode so need fast progression

He's the only reason? That team was completely lacking in skill. Richards was a shell of himself. But we should blame Nash entirely?

Edit: Never mind, I read that as he's "the reason" instead of "a reason"

No he wasn't the sole reason they lost. That's not fair. But he's a reason. Richards was better in 2014 than he was in 2013. They also blew leads in 3 games during the finals. Plus were on the wrong side of some crucial calls. It is what it is. I'll never like Rick Nash. But it's over nothing we can do now.

in 2013 Brad Richards was a big part of the union negotiating committee for the lockout, so when most other players were overseas playing, he was stuck here and then when season got going he looked 100 years old

Nash was just not a clutch player. But he always showed up. Just made you want more from him. I find panarin more frustrating than him

Panarin smiles on the ice a little too much for a soon to be 32 year player who has never won anything

Nash drove me a little crazy too but you never had to question his effort. Even when he wasn't scoring he was doing literally everything else he could.

Wasn't questioning his effort. But in that spot, you gotta get results.

The following two seasons he did better in the playoffs but that damn Tampa team and the (frank)ing Ottawa series that made me want to die ruined that.

Rick Nash, JT Miller and Kevin Hayes combined for 41 shots on net and only 1 goal scored in that series vs Ottawa
