Kakko too. Chytl is better than both but he's still super inconsistent also. Just blissful purgatory.

Probably doesn’t help he plays with 2 guys that have stone hands

havent you been advocating to put one of those "stone hands" on the top line and put Kreider on the 3rd line? lol

not good enough
- jimbro83

Nope lol

I would have no issue with laf on the top line if he could produce. Not only is he not but he disappears and just looks slow most games. Huge issue moving forward for this franchise

some of the Kreider haters I see on twitter think it's easy to deflect shots for goals like Kreider does and Lafreniere would be just as good if he got the opportunity

The guy who has almost 100 goals over the last 2 seasons/playoffs lol

How much of a regression do you think Kreider has playing with Trochek and Kakko but still playing on PP1?

Kreider is arguably the best of all time at it, but you know, it's easy

No clue but until the rangers have someone else who can play on a top line and handle the minutes, I would rather play the guy who scores goals

I dont think LAF has stone hands, I think his hockey IQ might not be as high as some suggested. As well as his skating being trash.

What happened to that Barbara lady who helped Boyle become a better skater?

100%. This is it for him, put him with Mika and cross your fingers. I don’t see Kreider having to much of a regression on the 3rd line with Trocheck, however I think Laf has a huge potential to figure it the F out.

He regressed this year but was still good.

Both can be true.

Well Kreider’s 50 goal year was not sustainable, his S% and tip tate was out of control.

I have no problem moving Kreider down if they Had a forward who can produce and handle the minutes. But other than Panarin they don’t right now. So why give Kreider less minutes, he actually scores goals lol

Also true. Regressing to his norm isn't bad.

Barbra Williams??? Is she still alive? She was giving skating lessons to the Islanders when I was a kid in the early 70's at Royal Ice Rink in Kings Park. Called Superior now.

I know Panarin is taking a ton of heat from this years playoffs and rightfully so, but even if we were able to trade him to gain cap space (we likely can't), are we even a playoff team without him? We can talk all we want about how he disappears in the playoffs but he has 46 points in 57 career playoff games which is well below his regular season pace but nothing to sneeze at. I get he's getting paid the big bucks to produce when it matters, but the Rangers are in arguably the best division in the league and he has 341 points in 268 regular season games for us. You take that away without replacing it and this team is a fringe playoff team at best

I think if Kreider didnt have that injury that caused him to miss a a few games, and also affected him on the ice a bit even after he came back, he would have had a 40 goal/ 20 assist season

Only 8 of this 36 goals last year were powerplay. So not all just tip ins and deflections
