I mean if Joel Quenneville's or Mike Babcock's name are circulating, nothing is off limits. The NHL has kept the whole Valeri Nichuskin thing quiet. Just par for the course with the NHL. - tomburton99
Dont' see Quenville or Babcock either. Babcock just seems to be a bit of a tyrant, and Quenville seems to be toxic as well. He might of just got a bad wrap, but if he knew anything and didn't help Beach....he should be out for good, as well.

Anyone see Brunette DWI video.?...not the best look. That alone will keep him from getting a look - rrentz
I know Jim Montgomery had trouble with booze too didn’t he? I know society never forgives anymore tho. If Brunette wasn’t employed I’d say it’s probably not a likely hire. But it doesn’t seem to have been a negative topic. I had no idea until you said it and I googled. |

I'm over-generalizing a bit...but he effectively just swept it under the rug because the Hawks were in the middle of a playoff run and he didn't want to deal with it |

Society did forgive Montgomery. He had a problem. Took responsibility for it and got help. Andrew Brunette tried to big Richard his way out of DUI. Brunette also wasn't punished as he still has job. |

Ok, that doesn't many sense. But again, Brunette has a job. He has not been vilified or canceled. So what's the problem? Montgomery's situation was also unique, because he recognized on his own that he had a problem. Montgomery was given another chance, and show'd he's a decent to good coach. That's just the facts. |

Point is no one should be hired based on previous errors in judgment so before you know it you hire an usher who sells hotdogs as HC |

The draft lottery is tomorrow.
Ducks are 1, Jackets are 2, Hawks are 3 to win it.
I have a feeling either the Hawks, Canadiens or Red Wings win the Bedard sweeps. I expect all these teams to move up. I dont expect the Ducks and especially not the Jackets to get Bedard. - aecliptic
Dont forget us at 4th overall!

I think the coach is secondary to adding some speedy players. We could get Scotty Bowman in the redwings heyday but it won’t matter much if we’re too slow |

Gimme the bond villain of Guy Boucher. Not because I think he's good, but I want to see him stare a hole through Larry Brooks. |

Yea I’m kind of with you. I could live with Knoblauch because it’s not a retread. Although, Laviolette I think is still a viable guy. Him or Boudreau would be the lesser of the evils that way
Imagine it’s Keenan |

One other name who i think will be an under the radar hire is Jay Leach. Love what he is doing in Seattle as an assistant coach. |
