It’s legit. Not surprising. Really wonder who’s next. Guessing Q or Trotz

Trotz is GM in Nashville now so not him. Thinking it’s Q or Knoblauch at this point. Maybe Laviolette?

I hope its not Laviolette or Sutter.

Id welcome Knoblauch. If you look around the league, many of those old time coaches are are kinda gone and we have this influx of younger coaches whose mindset is in tune with the current speed of the sport. Personally, Id be interested in Manny Malhotra.

The fact that some pretty reputable sources out there within 24hrs of losing game 7 were talking about coach Q is pretty telling.

But they need to dump Ortmeyer and Glass, Ortmeyer been tenured there for all of the 1st round picks that weve drafted since 2017 and its been an absolute disaster.

He has to get a green light from uncle Gary to coach again in the NHL

Curious why you’re against Laviolette? He’s taken 3 teams to the finals and won once. I’m not sold on him by any means just haven’t really seen him brought up elsewhere and I’m not sure what I’m missing

Hartford is having it's best season in years though and may be on a Cinderella run to the AHL title, honestly I think they are happy with that aspect right now

nobody is gonna blame those for guys for Lafreniere and Kakko not scoring goals

When youre the director of player development and youve got all these players that got drafted in the top 10 and all of them have either totally stunk or have been massive let downs. At what point do we look at whos in charge?

I dont know, I see where you are going, but I dont think they are gonna wipe those guys out when Hartford's doing so well

Wouldn’t he also have a 2 way contract since he’s in an elc so we could move him between either without waivers?

Granted pandemic and all, but this is the first year since they've been in those positions that the Wolfpack has made the playoffs.

This has Dolan written all over it. Don’t want Quenn not after Chicago.

Thank you all for the kind words.
Mom passed quietly in the night. No more suffering.
Strangely, you guys are like a big, kind, dumb, angry extended family! 🥲😪

- Tonybere

I don’t know you well tony but my condolences to you and your family. Lost my mom in 94 to cancer.

Sounds like the exit interviews were the final straw for gallant. Think there was more going on in the locker room than we knew about. Perhaps that contributed to lack of effort and flat starts on many nights

I think with the success the Wolfpack has had this season with a... not that good team, plus how the players played when he stepped in when needed here, I gotta think Knoblauch might have the inside track to that job.

I just hope someone in management can convince Vally to consider taking some sort of position with the club.

You gotta figure the players, after game 3, were maybe seeking some adjustments... a change in strategy. However, they like us may have gotten fed up with GG's fake smile and saying everything is ok and theyre playing well.

they expected a Cup, and got a first round exit after going up 2-0 in the series and going back to MSG and then had a lifeless game 7

They can bring in Toe Blake and it won’t make any difference. This is not a cup ready team as constructed. Feel for Galllant, wasn’t the team he wanted going in to the playoffs. So now he’s gone, rinse and repeat.

And then you had the disagreement between drury and gallant after game 4. Doesn't sound like a fun lockerroom tbh

Just because the roster wasn’t optimal doesn’t mean gallant wasn’t also to blame
