Thanks. Sitting in a hospital room all day with my mom. I could feel myself gravitating back here like an addict!

Sucks. Sorry man.
This place is a good distraction.

You know the wheels have come off the fan base when we start talking Adam Fox trades.

The Fox downfall so overblown. Had a bad games 7. Decent series. Him and Igor are probably the only untouchables on the team.

Best wishes for everything dude. I hope your mother and family are getting good hospice care, it makes such a massive difference in an otherwise terrible time.

I'd add Schneider to that list too

I would easily trade him for the right price. His ceiling seems to be a low end #4 right now. Not good enough at moving the puck and just decent in his own end. Solid skater as well.

Our mom passed away in the middle of Covid. It was hard that all her children weren’t allowed in the room at the same as she was passing on. Even thou she was 94 and you think you are prepared for what’s happening it’s your mom and it’s super hard. Best of luck to you and your mom

Schneider also regressed over the entire year. Part of the larger culture problem.

Rangers suffer from being a good old boys club. I know they fired a bunch of scouts a few years ago but they need to clean house with everyone not named Benoit Allaire.

Mark Ciaccio has been skills coach since 2013, needs to go. Jed Ortmeyer director of player development since 2017 needs to go. Assistant director Tanner Glass since 2019 get out of here.

They don't' list a skating coach as employed by the team, which they desperately need. You have a whole bunch of players that aren't developing well, that seem to regress over offseasons, that don't live up to their billing, and yet we don't ever swap out the people and mostly higher former players.

The one thing he needs to do more at times is shoot. If he did that from the pp, he would be more of a weapon, especially when teams like NJ take away the pass. Tony might be right that his hand affected his puck handling and reduced his willingness to shoot. Defensively, he had great metrics during the year and usually found a way out of trouble and exit the zone without incident. The Devils' forecheck and neutral zone play shut everyone down, which is on the inability to adjust in game and during the series.

not the time to trade Schneider, he's last year of entry level year next season at 925k

there isnt anyone you are replacing him with for that money

You guys are crazy. Fox couldn’t be fox because we were out-coached and the devils were too fast. He can’t magically make the puck teleport up the ice if no one’s open. It was absolutely not his fault

Not solely his fault, but he's at fault along with everybody else.

The performance bonuses kill us though, I want someone on an ELC who doesn't hit the bonuses but plays like he does
