it really is hard to fathom for any of us that they took a 2-0 series lead back to MSG and lost the series

there really isn't any venom thrown at these players that isn't justified

depending what happens this off season, i think i'm at the point where i'm not devoting much viewing time to this team until they're deep in the playoffs. i'm sure i'll watch games, but gone are the days of watching all 82 games and wasting my time when i can be doing something that actually makes me happy

That’s where my hate stems. To take a 2-0 series lead and the minute the devils fought back in game 3 they roll over and died. Will never forget it haha

In terms of powerplay time whatever, but the only way you're going to get better is more reps and if the dude is playing less than 12 minutes a night or something on the 4th line, it makes sense.

Not surprised, got to love Kreider. He's only ever known what it's like to be NYR. How many guys can say that?

I have the exact opposite opinion on this:

Trouba was one of the few players that left it all on the ice. He knocked Meier into next week with a Trouba train hit in the 3rd period. Absolutely no quit!

Kreider? Had an absolutely miserable game when it counted the most. Why would you want to switch the letters on these two players sweaters? Helmet throw by Trouba turned our season around in December --- players clearly responded to his emotions and actions. That's the CAPTAIN that I want!

Kreider is a great player and a team leader. But he isn't worthy of the "C"...

As a reasonably neutral observer I think your assessment is pretty accurate. I think that there would be lots of takers if the Rangers ever floated Trouba's name as a possible trade prospect.
