Well that sucked. Sometimes I'm active sometimes I go a month or two without posting but just wanted to say to all of you regulars, I really enjoy reading and debating with you guys about the Rangers. Wasn't the ending we hoped for but hopefully the early ouster is the catalyst needed for change.

Jan, thank you for all that you do, it's truly appreciated. Always look forward to your takes.

TonyB, enjoy the time you have left with your mom. Make every last memory count.

Hoping Drury can find a way to move Goodrow as well as one of the other guys with a NMC. It's just clear this core of vets don't have what it takes. As exciting as the Panarin signing was at the time, we needed another bad year or maybe two to really put this rebuild where it should have been. Younger guys would have played more, top picks might not have been rushed/ran out of town, etc. But NY market lacks patience.

Hopefully Cullye and Onthman can come in and add to the squad, move some people around, and find a way to play a more north-south game. The type of hockey that is effective October-April leaguewide (Bruins, Avs, Rangers, etc) seems to fail April-late June. Hopefully this is addressed in the offseason.

These two have some good will left. Especially the Avs. The Rangers have none. That's the difference.

One thing about the Bruins though. Pastrnak’s cap hit goes from 6 million to 11 million and they have the 4.5 mil overage penalty for next season.

That’s close to 10 million that they had this year going into thin air.

I'll throw it on in the background if it's on TV and I'm doing stuff. Mostly because I just keep hoping it's some sort of directors cut and there's an Emmy Rossum nude scene

The Bruins won a Cup 12 years ago. That's long. Rangers have that drought x 2.5. That's all I care about. They owe us 1. Not a dynasty. Not multiple. Just 1.

Not that it would of made a difference in the game, but what is goalie interference?
He's untouched and slides right into Igor and takes him out, weather it was an accident or not. Did the same thing in Game 4 and no call. But Igor gets called for roughing when Meier is laying on top of him in the crease.

oh hey you handsome bastard
- jimbro83

Yes I am handsome. Got some proof here.

I'm doing alright, definitely haven't been as wrapped up in NYR the last few years as yall as they continue to break my heart.

Was having a blast reading jimbo's twitter but it appears I can no longer find it, or you've deleted it Jimmy, or the algorithm is all F'd up...

I also have finally left the great state of NY and moved to VA, as the wife wanted to, to be closer to her family or something.

The same price that got me a 1 BR apartment in NYC gets me a townhouse in VA that is 3 floors, 4 Bedroom / 4 bathroom. Just wild...

Hope everyone is doing well.

He was the consensus #1 pick. I just can't believe he is this bad. He just needs to leave the Rangers.
- JRR1285

Laf is an elite player if anyone but us drafts him... (maybe or maybe not) --> just hard not to think that as we've watched other #1 overall picks thrive and when we get 'em that close to the top, they just okay.

With Boston losing to FL though, I was like "cool we don't have to beat Boston if we can just get by NJ, whoops!"
