Yea but Huberdeau was only 28 and didn’t have any trade clauses to block moves. Panarin is in full control. Him and his family love New York. Why would he leave? It’s just false hope to think he will.

100%. We are stuck with panarin until the end of his term. There is no trade coming. Majority of the core will remain the same. Unless they decide to move some of the kids

Panarin isn’t waiving. This team is mediocre until 2026. This was the year. Drury gallant and the players blew it. Just the reality.

Yep they went all in on this year for a reason. They failed and don’t see how they can get any better. Teams around them will be much improved and will only get better. Rangers can’t make much roster change. Just feel like we are stuck as a solid regular season team that doesn’t have the horses to get it done in the postseason

So, if I had to pick one and let the other go. I keep Gallant and let Drury go.

Think back just a couple of years ago, the Rangers were the up and coming team loaded with young talent. You could see in their elite prospects a talent pool that would for many years make them a top contender. They had been built the right way starting in goal and on defence.

So, what I'm reading here is we would've been better off letting JD and Gorton keep on their path. Not exactly news to us.

Yea I have zero expectations next year. They remind me of a worse version of the leafs bc their core is old and no cap flexibility. Slow teams can’t win in this era. Bad 5v5 teams don’t either

There is a chance bedard is in our division or in the east at very least. Sabres are going to be much better going forward. Obviously have the Devils to contend with. Rangers core will get them to playoffs but I have my doubts on any deep run. There simply isn't a lot of ways to make the necessary improvements based on the salary cap and players with ntc/nmc.

I really thought to the night before the rangers players saw Boston and Colorado and Tampa all get eliminated and be extra motivated like wow the bracket is wide open. We can make our run. And then give us that performance lol. All I needed fo see lol
