Passing bills without a referendum, not having a say for the people that hired a govt to work for the people is not a democracy, time people got a backbone and take our countries back, this is everywhere not just Canada.

Again, lost on the liberal Soy club. They'll whine about it after it's too late. All good nothing to see.

New C for Seahawks, good review!

Olusegun Oluwatimi IOL, MICH
Height: 6-3, Weight: 309

Draft crush of mine. Doesn't blow you away athletically but is incredibly strong and possesses an unshakable equilibrium. Immovable. Angle/leverage blocker. Good length. Extensive experience. Instant starter. (Chris Trapasso)

You know, I've stayed out of the overtly political crap on this board for the most part, but... I call BS on that, the problem with democracy is that like bumholes, everyone has an opinion and like bumholes they all smell bad and no one wants to admit that their bumholes stink just like their opinions. Nothing ever gets done because everyone passes the buck and refuse to compromise.

1 person can get things done, 2 people can get things done faster, more than 3 people and nothing ever gets done because they'll argue for days about how best to do things. Democracy, like Communism is an ideology, you will never get it to work the way it was intended because people can't agree or properly compromise unless it's to do with survival, and even then they'll argue while everything burns around them (see the Fall of the Roman Empire).

This is actually true. Personally I have no confidence in any political Canadian party, or the US for that matter. It's actually sad they give me comic relief, it's probably unintentional.

Woo got them fired up with his hit on Phillips.
Mighty Mouse got revenge with an apple on the tying goal and scored the winner in OT.
Hoglander with 4 penalties last night, he’ll be wearing the goat horns for the trip in OT that lead to the winner.

I don't really see Abby as a powerhouse. I see them as a farm team. When needed they have players in place to fill in. They are taught the systems but there are no stars.

I’ve watched both games and it’s a long ways from the NHL.
I agree with you though, Abby has no stars, except maybe Hoglander.

The prospect I like is D Petey. When I see comments about Bains and Raty soon being called up, I just shake my head. I know this franchise has been desperate for ever hoping for a star would come up, but I don't think this organization cares about farming. They would rather have the finished product.

It pisses a lot of fans off but when you can call up a more experienced Wolanin or Dries then that is what they will do.

Part of the problem drafting so many euro based players, with prospects spread all over we don't get the group development.

Why is it a problem? Our best prospects have been players developed in other leagues.
One may not like that prospect but the fact is our best draft picks have not developed under Canucks system (AHL).

The core of the cup run team and President trophies was a group that came thru the farm together and grew together into a big part of those teams

They had an owner that let them tank. Our owner every year screams at the GM after all star break to win games so the building is not empty.

I look at Abby as a new start, so we will see, but I meant in the past, Carlisle, AV helped groom and get a group of guys that had a long run together.
Right now we got our best D prospect playing and being coached differently then the Canucks, our best Forward prospect the same, where they should be all learning and growing together as a team, building to push for advancement
