What’s a buyout for Marky, Huberdeau and Weeger look like? They all need to go

Edit: forgot about Kadri. Worst of all of them thanks for the reminder lol

- CanuckDon

Weegar’s not going anywhere,
Markstrom will be there to mentor Wolf or until another desperate GM takes him.
Huberdeau will bounce back to a 80-90 point player, still overpaid
Kadri will have to stay as Backlund asked for a trade last summer.

I don’t really care what buyouts cost, it’s not my $

That’s what my buddy keeps saying, how the Canucks are finally on the right track, then they traded for a damaged D.
- K-man25

Nothing surprises me anymore. Canucks are the living version of Murphy's Law.

I do get a good laugh when I see posting about not believing in God on here and their next post says the Canucks will win the draft lottery. Which one has a better chance of being true. That was sarcasm boys no need for religious debates, I don't care if you believe or not, it is none of my business.

Just joking around

Huberdeau and Kadri were stupid signings by a desperate GM, you guys should know all about that. I think we’ll see some bounce back by both players now that Sutter is gone. Still though, horrendous contracts.

Markstrom?

Your prediction on Sutter coming back because of his extension did not age well.

9 shutout Markstrom or the one the Oilers broke last playoffs?

Nurse was laughing when he fought Bo. They were buddies and he didn’t want to hurt him. A captain doesn’t have to fight but they have to play hard and play the right way. Bo was a coward who would fly the zone and turn the other cheek the minute a linemate needed him
- CanuckDon

To be clear - I'm not defending Bo but I don't think he played much different than any of the other captains on the list I just gave you. Fly bys are the norm these days. You wanna see finished checks, watch junior hockey.

Huberdeau, Kadri, are the only two really bad ones - but both those guys still have a few productive years ahead. Marky, Coleman and Weeger arnt too bad

The list I rhymed off has as many or more per team. On average every team has 2-3 horrific contracts.

- Brooks_Light

Disagree. Far too much $ to pay a backup goalie

Speaking of rebuilds, I’m on a flight from Chicago to Phoenix and Bill Armstrong is a few seats ahead of me in business class. He’s a big dude and in shape, just like me. Taking off soon.

Hey Loady

What do you think the Canucks are going to do with Dermott? Will they walk away or do they sign him for 900K ? Is he done?

I look at Cancuks 7/8 Dman and ask is he a better option the Briesbois?

Rossi would fit this group nicely.
- Shuswap Wap

Would he? Not sure If you're being sarcastic but He's an undersized 3C, smaller than Hoglander - Isn't that exactly what the team said they were moving away from?

Ek and Sundqvist went down and they still didn't use him in the playoffs. It seems like Dewar is ahead of him on the depth chart - who?? exactly. He did play earlier in the season and went pointless in 19 games. And why are Minny willing to trade him already? Red flags everywhere

Didnt realize playing almost 60 games a season categorizes him as a backup goalie

But also fawk Calgary for signing him to that horsesh%t contract.
