Well, let's face it, it doesn't matter WHEN they lose now. But they look gassed.
- keaner17

Agreed. They are losing most of the races to loose pucks now.

They're not even getting legitimate scoring chances this period

Best two periods of the series followed by a period where they played not to lose

Oh great, OT. Like my PB wasn't high enough. Let's hope they come out with the same energy they had in the 1st.

I think he's about 60%, he gets in the zone button hooks and tries a pass. His knee can't be right

Their offense was their defense through two periods. Then they decided to collapse in and play inside their own zone. They deserve their fate

Wow that was a pretty terrible period. I felt really good going into the 3rd and we sucked. I don’t feel good at all going into OT so maybe we win?

Still think a timeout 5 minutes in was the right call. Canes have another game so they poured it on full pressure and isles played not to lose

Islanders played with fire that entire period. Still think the Islanders find a way in OT.

Yep, which tells me Lane was okay with their approach

He certainly doesn't look 100%. If the trainers thought he could play without making it worse it was the right call.

The Bruins are in a battle!

I love elimination hockey when the Isles aren't involved!

If its a grade three MCL, I've had a similar injury. It's sore with certain pressure and very weak. They say 6-8 weeks but I honestly wasn't 100% until about a year later

The more I watch the Canes goal, that's 100% on Palms.

Isles looking better in OT. I guess they got energized, having rested during the 3rd period.

Icing it 600x to try and win 1-0 wasn't the best strategy in the third...

They 100% got what they deserved.
Their so-called leaders were no shows for this series
