It's been a long, grey, wet winter. Even though that's pretty common I still have a hard time dealing with it. I just so happy there's still fire in the sky.

True. But I think that's wishful thinking.

I'm fortunate that I haven't been directly affected by the fires but I have a place up in Cultus Lake which is a forest fire time bomb. Every camping season we have a couple of near misses. Always some irresponsible dumb drunk (frank). That's why BC Parks implements a fire ban on June 1st up here regardless of the conditions.
