I have watched that zoomed in, from different angles, slowed down, sped up, blah, blah, blah - with nothing but vitriol surrounding it from Oilers fans - but using the naked eye with no plane of reference, you can't say the stick was touched by the puck. Even where contact looks to be made and the stick appears to move as a result, Villardi is moving is hand, so it's hard to say for sure.

The damning evidence in that is the rotation of the puck reverses after the puck reaches it's "apex" which means that it had to hit the stick - the rotation wouldn't change otherwise.

If he anticipates more nastiness, he might replace Knies with Simmonds. I wouldn't, but it's the only logical change I could foresee. After a 7-2 win, I wouldn't be tinkering with it.

With Cooper having last change he might want adjust a bit upfront. The JT line is pretty vulnerable defensively if they end up out against the Point line. Maybe switch Kerfoot and Jarnkrok or move Knies up with Kerfoot on ROR’s line.

A yes or no answer with specifics would do nothing more than give Cooper info that would be beneficial to him prior to the game.
