the Devils were like really b i t c h y at the end of the game more than physical - jimbro83
Let them be. It's completely out of their character. They're tissue paper soft. Playing a non physical team in the first round of the playoffs may end up being such a blessing for the NYR.
Still plenty of hockey though. Have to take care of business at home
I didn't realize Kane could skate that fast. He does things effortlessly, so seeing him realize he probably had a breakaway, man he turned on the jets - mdw7413
I do think he has some lingering issues going on but can still turn it on when necessary. That steal and goal was all left handed Panarin vibes. Very nice to see.

he's a phenomenal penalty killer too, it gets a bit overlooked - jimbro83
Yup, I was just semi joking. He is by far the best deflection guy in the game. Its not even close, plus then we dont have to see him miss on his one shot he has on his break aways.
Yeah, I didn't mean a comparison, but if they can keep Mikkola for cheap, they really need to. Love his simple but smart game and his toughness - mdw7413
Oh I know. I respect Mikkola's game. And realize he's better than what they had to start the year. I just love Tarasenko scoring clutch goals, engaging in the physicality of game and him seeming to really love NY. Love Vlady.

Yeah, he seems like he just loves to play. Always a ton of emotion. He was a little quiet when he first got here, understandable, great to see him settling in.

Under the radar from last night was how mean and jamish Kakko was. He was something I’m not sure we’ve seen yet really. The goal was well deserved because of that dirty work

B2B strong games from the kid line. Just need to get Mika a goal and then all is right with world.

Unfortunately Mika has to concentrate on these two centers when’s he’s out there. Whoever it is, I haven’t really paid attn to that. He’s doing a great job tho. Could be something like when they start taking Kreider away, they can go to Zib. They haven’t really needed him if you think about it (offensively)

Tastes good today. Boomer said it best I think, a very “satisfying” win
It’s crazy to think how stressless these two games were. If you can have stressless playoff games lol 1-0 Devils was the first feel of it but it really didn’t last that long, thankfully. Haven’t had the poop pains too much

Was thinking the same thing. Once they gotta handle kreider mika should open right up. Pick your poison
