8.5 mil.
- LordHumungous

I've been trying to cheer for him but he is largely invisible. I also noticed he isn't taking the crucial face offs in The last minute or 2.

Reminds me of what should happen to Nurse. Sell high. He isn't the stud you need on D

I notice that Brock didn’t stop playing in the Da Beauty League summer after summer while his father got more and more ill. Playing in the Da Beauty League is not an adequate summer training program. It’s more about fun. So I guess he wasn’t so grief-stricken to stop having fun.
- bloatedmosquito

Da Beauty league is a joke. I played open hockey that was more intense. Wasted time when should be in the gym & on the ice working on skating & skills not a vacation league.

Well, I mean... that's basically what Boeser is going/went through?

Not great work review in the year following his dad's death (it's been 11 months)... and – just spitballing – maybe your dad's death wasn't the reason for the poor performance, but were the increased drugs/booze use a result of it? If so.... you're just swapping excuses

Pay me $6.65m to deal with life outside of work any day.

Hopefully his agent is successful getting his ass moved out of town, one less pillow biter. Take that money to sign Dumba to a reasonable deal or someone else to protect the rest of the b1tches.
- VanHockeyGuy

Dumba for how much? Too vague.

Sweet. Hope you get some good tickets. And the Oilers lose the next 2.

Oilers are putting themselves in a bad position. Again, the game should have never reached OT. After the second McDavid goal, Drai took that dumb penalty and the game was tied. Calls may be questionable but one has to know the Oilers aren't going to get any favours from Gary's boys. Now in another 'must win' situation having to win 3/4 down the stretch here. Woodcroft needs to sit that club down and get them on the right track mentally. Don't let the games get to OT as that's when Gary's boys are just looking for the excuse. Be better.
- LordHumungous

Kings are playing well, playing a tight game and laying the body on mcdavid.

I feel for Brock but adding to what you say nobody gets $6.65m a year to get through it.

lol Oilers aren't doing themselves any favours with undisciplined Hockey. Three blown 2 goal leads and another blown 2-1 lead last night. That Drai penalty after the 2nd McDavid goal was totally uncalled for. Game should have never got to OT they know Gary's boys are watching. Need to use their fucking heads lol

Anyways yes looking at good seats about 180-$220 wow. But worth it. Never been disappointed with a Maiden show.

- LordHumungous

Oilers should play hockey. There is no 3rd team on the ice.

Had an excellent day yesterday. Won on all 4 games, but a special thanks to the Oilers, who paid out most of the 1100 that I won yesterday.

Can you remind me, what is the current Canuck draft position?
- Reubenkincade

11th. My guess of 9-10th was close. Your bigger range guess of 11-13th had more leeway but far off at the top. I also quantified my guess that playing Demko 1/2 the time for my guess. I further said we would be in the Bedard lotto then said we’d win Fantilli. I elaborated in depth not you lol.

But I didn't go the media crying about, I just piled in the car with friends and drove to The Gorge to see Neil Young and Crazy Horse while eating acid the whole time.

You're almost better off throwing in a few extra quid and meeting us at Power Trip.

Missed all the games last night. No Quarter and Mr. Crowley have snuck into the rotation though. Fun tunes to Drum.

- Load Management

Thx but with my time off from work the dates don't work all that great for Power trip. I'm off this coming week just doing day trips to CGY-EDM. Some business stuff. Trying to get to BC this summer lower mainland and Okanagan as well. Vegas in September. Expensive and busy trips coming up I might not even be able to afford Maiden in Sept in Edmonton.

Great tracks. If you haven't already check out the Dio documentary on Crave "Dreamers Never Die' and the Triumph doc. "Rock and Roll Machine'. The Dio one is absolutely outstanding on par with the Maiden and Rush ones. Triumph one very well done too. Some great viewing there for you and your daughter after jam night.

Another great Horse but Secretariat's record time at the Belmont Stakes still holds today. 50 years later. Remarkable.

Picking 11th assuming the lottery doesn’t change the pick it makes more sense to pick RHD. Reinbacher should be there. Imo a safe pick but not sold on high upside. Pellikka as much as most don’t like him could be the better choice. Size isn’t there. I still like Simashev if trading down for him. Only issue is he’s LHD but a big bruiser defensive D is nice. Still we need more 2nds to get D.

Maybe because the media doesn't care about you?

He's a hockey player in Vancouver... the media will write a story about a player's irregular farts. This has been pretty public the whole time, not sure he went there crying or just letting them into his headspace after the season ended. But, whatevs.

Without a doubt.

He was probably best saying it was a tough year and left it at, but suggesting people don't know what he went through comes across as selfish.
No denying it's a hard thing to go through.

Then poor Brock should have taken a leave of absence, to spend time with his dad.
