Allvin and company have done a great job adding some organizational depth for free this year, kudos to them.

From Harm/Athletic:

So very Canuck. Short term thinking after short term thinking.

You give them too much credit. They don't think. Period.

Don is going to be the biggest fan of Shane O"Brien now

(Can't embed a reddit video, but it's him absolutely laying into Bo for his comments and how poop of a captain he was)

Yzerman wasn’t hired in Detroit until April 19, 2019, which means he’s only responsible for the 2019 & 2020 kids on your comment. Which includes Seider and Raymond. The rest of those kids are still developing. Very disingenuous of you, not to mention incorrect. Yzerman is the king!!
- LeftCoaster

No kidding.

I am certainly not Cody Severtson, I don't know why you claim me responsible for his thought.

I just said that he would do better.

Your post was disingenuous and misleading, you’d be great in the scum that is the Vancouver media.

Maybe if you are an idiot with poor reading comprehension it may seem that way. That's the same as thinking that Hextall was doing a good thing in Philly btw.

You should’ve defended Yzerman saying this isn’t exactly true, but no, you just felt the need to pile onto his lies. You’re as much to blame. Disappointing, but not unexpected.

Do I support 15 teams as you do?

You have only yourself to blame

I know that most in here if a Canuck GM drafted top 10 for 5 straight drafts plus a predecessor picking top 10 in 2 previous drafts, would be grounds for being one of the worst GM's in the history of hockey.

Yzerman isn’t a team, he’s a person, probably the best GM in the NHL over the past 25 years.

Ouch.

Seriously what were they thinking hiring someone like Hextall that was endorsed by Lefty?

Cleaning house! They have no prospects, they’ve only picked three times in the first round in the past ten drafts, their roster is old, but they do have two Cups in the past ten years. Time to rebuild.

Apparently his job as tank commander is done.

This is when you know it will not end well, much like the post season aspirations for his 10 teams.

Interestingly enough, Eakins coached the Oiler to McDavid lottery win,now has coached Ducks into contention for Bedard.

Who is dumb enough to rebuild with Crosby, Malkin, Letang, Guentzal on the roster.

Yep, just have to keep running it back until those guys retire/leave town.

Their playoff streak that just ended was the longest running in North American major sports

Start the rebuild the same as Chicago is doing. Probably could have done a few things better and possibly not have wasted as many assets as they had done.
