No don’t have Bear or Myers as top 4 even though they are being used as such. It’s just the numbers game of sending one out to get a real one like Hronek.

I am looking forward to finally watching some exciting & meaningful hockey for a change. - Marwood
I can't find it anywhere but I heard it earlier this season on some podcast. Pretty sure it was Marty St. Louis that said that the regular season is played at 80% and the playoffs are played at 100% and that's why the games are just a little bit better.
“Honestly, I wouldn’t have known that if I didn’t play in Carolina, to be honest,” he said. “I could’ve played for the Anaheim Ducks, probably came here and wouldn’t have noticed a thing, but when you play for such a structured team that is so detail-oriented — there’s a plan on every single faceoff, there’s a plan on every single play when you’re on the ice — when you come from that and come to where we were at this year, it was just, like, ‘Oh my god. We’ve got to just survive.’”
Ethan Bear throwing serious shade at Bruce and company.
“You’re just making hockey reads instead of playing a structure and it kind of felt like an every-man-for-himself kind of thing,” said Bear. “You could sense it. We didn’t really have that team camaraderie, that togetherness. It always felt like everyone was a little lost.”
Carolina might be the best structured team in the league.
I thought you were referring to season, not career. I guess it makes a difference when you rush players into the league, versus actually developing players 1st.

It goes back to training camp and how Bruce was still playing AHL players, late into pre-season.
As Booner kept saying, you can't develop systems and structure, if you don't play your expected team together.
You could see during some of the games, how frustrated Bear was, when he would get the puck and there was no one in a position to recieve a pass, unless it was in the offensive zone.

Probably one of the most disfunctional seasons for the Canucks.

Ah yes, if they played together in a couple more preseason games they would have looked way less of a cluster(frank) at game 45
The team had barely any structure under Bouds, no amount of preseason games would have given it to them.
