I Think fans in Vancouver hate Miller because they associate him with Benning. It’s weird because Elias did the same garbage last year (for longer) and he doesn’t receive criticism. There is nothing wrong with his contract. Bo’s contract is far worse

Pettersson is a franchise player. Miller is not.

Well this season is ending but really looking forward to the start of next season. Miller, Pettersson, Demko, Hughes, Boeser, Kuzmenko and Mikheyev will be a formidable core, Canucks will be top 5 in their division, future looks bright.

My only dislike of Millers contract was wanting to trade him to kick start a retool. But since management is going to do everything they can to compete next season, there aren't many players we could sign, trade for, or draft (outside Bedard and maybe Fantili) that will provide what he does. Defensive issues aside, he helps teams win.

Donny the Captain of a 3 time cup team is not Universally hated by players. You're out of your mind if you think young players wouldn't jump at the oppertunity to play with him. Coaches too. For sure, that situation is a negative mark but to say he universally hated is just false. There is no factual piece of information you can point me to that players around the NHL hate the guy, cause even Sean Avery wasn't universally hated and he is pretty far from him.
