he probably felt it just wasn't his fault, and was hoping for the team in front of him to eventually somehow generate a bit of offense..? also he most likely had a talk with him and made sure he was ok with staying in the game.

yeah, I was expecting a loss but not this kind of humiliation. still, the talent gap between both rosters is definitely real, one injured rebuilding team vs one who's been aiming to have playoff success and win the cup.
