let's hope they show up tonight... well whatever is left of that team lol. - Pat1993
at least with the injuries guys like Farell and Ylonen get chances they may not have got otherwise (same with RHP before he went down himself).
I just hope there is less of that next season cause that will become a problem sooner rather than later |

Meh, it's a nice moment when you point to a player when they are 15 and say they are going to be a 100+ point star in the NHL and then get validated. Didn't see as much of him being a giant female genitalia on the ice back in junior. - AdamFrench like when you predicted Jacob DeLarose would be a star. |

They are going uphill in neutral.
Just play the kids, let them have fun and see y'all at the draft.

yeah the opportunity given to younger guys has been the silver lining to all these injuries, but lately it's been harder for the team to play with intensity and/or passion, which I guess is normal in this kind of season lol.

I predicted he would be a great 3rd liner. The type of 15g-30p guy all teams want...ya I was wrong on that one pretty badly. |

a lot of guys don't want to get injured for meaningless games where most fans want to see them lose anyway.

STAR
mostly because 3rd line players are stars in MTL, that's how low the bar is now |

sure but technically the whole season has been meaningless... and there's a difference between losing and not showing up at all. |

I was wrong, 2012 was our masterful 5 first round picks year. DeLaRose was drafted in 2013.
And to answer that question, none of them are in the NHL today unless you count the few games Galchenyuk got.

Oh sure. A midget defenseman, a #1 pick that can't complete a shift without falling down and a hidden camera pornographer that nobody wants on the team.
Things are looking up!! |

at some point you also need some level of talent and NHL experience as well
but yeah add a lack of motivation and meaning and yeah... |
