He could.
Caufield and Slaf should be ok. I love RHP but I think he's on a 3rd line eventually. Anderson when he's not injured is ok, Farrell maybe, Roy maybe. Still in a rebuild the depht isn't there - Fredo
RHP-Evans-Gallagher on 3rd line.

he gets to pick his team now - deadpoulet
No he doesn't. He's an RFA. |

He accepted the deal to the Jets because his dad is in the (frank)ing organization. Only reason...and he immediately wants out. Guy is a (frank)ing female genitalia. Enjoy him for the year before he implodes under the spotlight. - AdamFrench
Yeah, he has some issues between the ears. Same reason I did not like the Drouin trade when it was made, even if I thought it would turn out a lot better than it did.
Maybe maturity, if he has managed to acquire any, will calm Dubois the (frank) down.

Between Caufield, Slaf, RHP, whoever we draft this year and the rest of the guys in the pipeline I feel like there's something there.
 - Scabeh
I don't see RHP as a top 6 guy, but he might be very good on a third line with Gallagher next season
the guy mtl draft this year won't play with mtl next season |

I agree RHP isn't projected as a top 6 guy, but he's part of our set of wingers moving forward for sure.
And who knows about the 2nd part.

RHP-Evans-Gallagher on 3rd line. - Mashadar
yeah, saw that a few days ago.
that is a recipie for failure. Evans and Gally are always injured.
4th line? no problem.

I would assume he would try to forced a trade so he can get an 8 year deal elsewhere.

We will see.
But I would not be surprised. If Dvorak is still around, it might be him between those 2 players and Evans on the 4th line.
I think this year there will be a lot of changes on the team... we already know the players that will nto be back and I think a few others will be gone as well.

well it's unlikely for a lot of teams, even when you're dead last there are no guarantees, the % isn't that high for anyone.

you have to do with the players that you have
that's the best they could do
but you can put dvorak there if nobody kills him |

Not really. More for being so overrated of a player because of one good series and the media's bonaire that a guy with 61 points as a career high that has already burned two coaches to benching him and cried about getting out of two teams before the age of 25, including a team where his dad is a (frank)ing member of the staff is still being defended and pined after because he's "French Canadien!"
I dunno, maybe it would be a match made in heaven and all his female genitaliaery was to get him to the bright spotlight to be the truest Vinny Lecavalier...but I'm not buying it until it happens.
I think Montreal has a rare chance to really rebuild and unless the deal was in their favour, I would hold out for the poopty few more seasons rather than rush it. |

isssh
maybe for a low pick or c level prospect
then again with all of their injuries in the last 2 seasons, they may decide to keep him
+ he's a centre |
