I fully expect Torts to be behind the bench at least until AV's conttact expires. For me, the Briere/Torts press box is just symbolism that the :For sale" sign is very much in front of the team. Every player not on an entry level contract can be sold.

AV contract expires after next season. $25 mill Comcast paid for that! His first season was ok. LaZy HaZe actually played hard! And Niskanen made Provorov better.

The Flyers need to take a page outta the Ottawa Senators book and just draft the heck outta the draft. I was watching the Hockey Night in Canada intro, center ice package, and saw they have so many good young kids they’ve drafted 24 years of age or younger. It sucks to lose that much and they’re still missing a star center (unless Stutzle keeps playing center) but that’s a young team on the rise.
