that is not such an outrageous cap hit for a team looking to stabilize things in net, lots of teams might actually need a goalie, even if it's only as a backup or a 1B.

but that team would need to keep him in the NHL. plenty of Primeau's on waivers when camps end.
that being said, considering Habs will have another rough season next year, they might as well decide to trade Allen and keep the kid in the big leagues. time will tell.
