My friend . . . I feel like at 50 the term "best friend" is silly, but he was my best man at my wedding, and I likewise at his wedding . . is an Oiler fan. If we meet in the Stanley Cup Finals, we won't be able to talk for 2 weeks. He was unbearable last year after the Oilers beat the Kings and we lost to the Lightning. He only got worse after they beat the Flames.

Although I'll admit that I am conflicted. If the Leafs aren't playing, I'd like the Oilers to do well, but at the same time he is pretty insufferable, so I'm also super cool when they lose.

I too have a good friend like that. We chirp each other all the time but and the end of the day It's a game and we wish each other the best. Problem is every other oil-smeared glasses wearing mother(frank)ers in the 780. Still running around ranting about Gretzky, Messier, and Fuhr's Cocaine Bear problem.
