bah, the cheers for losses aren't that bad, it's the whining about winning I mostly can't stand lol... and at least once the lottery is done the conversations about the draft lists and Dubois will make a lot more sense.

It's tough Pat, when every win since basically December (or earlier) is this team just (frank)ing itself out of a better draft position..

it's too late to cheer or whine about wins and losses. only 8 or 9 games to go, time to enjoy real hockey!
- fidopro

well not really, there's still a "race" going on with Philly and Arizona, if the habs win most of their games while the others lose most of them it'll have an impact on the standings

oh whatever, I've watched most of the games this year and despite all the losses, I like where this team is heading. it annoys me that people can't just enjoy the games... oh well.

yeah, but there's not much difference between finishing 27th or 28th. it's basically set.

the real race to watch is FLA. them making the playoffs or falling a few ranks will have a bigger impact than the Habs losing a game or 2.

You see anything about who's out for Farrell? Thinking Dach is injured, but haven't seen anything.

that would be a very logical choice, yes. it's just because I noticed Belzile wasn't part of the lineup on Daily faceoff lol

Edit:

I just did it, Florida and Philly wins the Lottery so Habs get #4 and #7 with the Flyers getting Bedard.

For me it's not as much as the chance to win the #1, it is also to secure a better pick knowing you can't go back more than 2 spots.

as of now they pick 5, worse case #7. Top 4 guys are expected to be impactful players

I get that, but we've seen time and time again players getting picked later but turning out to be great... besides with this management team I think the organization is in good hands, even if the habs aren't picking in the top 4 it doesn't mean they won't eventually be a winning team.

It's how I got my grade 12, and one of the things that kept me from university.
