Not often we agree, but as a Flames fan I would also like them to be in the playoffs.

Well, how else can I laugh at you guys when you're swept in the 1st round

I expect you to laugh at us no matter what. You best know if your Oil does not win the cup then you will be mocked ruthlessly and without remorse.

Depending on who the Oilers draw they could have a pretty easy path to the conference finals. But, as anything 1st rounds have upsets. Flames have been under-acheiving all year and man I would not want to be the club that plays a hot Calgary team if they make the PO's. They can win a round or two.

I think the East will be a blood bath. I agree that it could potentially be a pretty easy path for the Oil, it all depends on how Skinner can handle the pressure.

I don't want to get my expectations up with the Flames until they actually make it. Having to depend on both Nashville and the Jets to poop the bed is still too much of a long shot IMO.

Hola senior Duran! If the Flames make the playoffs and a Sutter coached team in the 8th seed, if I was an opposing teaming I would be holy poop!

Forgot to mention the Kings were an 8th seed and look what happened when they swept the nucks who were the top seed in 2011 I think? Just get in and it’s a new season!

When the Flames had their run with Sutter in 04 I also believe they were the 8th seed. But those facts are pretty flimsy anchors on which to hang the heavy weight of hope.

Flames were the 6th seed in 04, knocked off #3 in the Canucks, # 1 in the Wings the # 2 Sharks and the puck was in in the SCF game 6 ☹️

4 goals on 12 shots. Thats not gonna cut it in the playoffs. Good thing Toffoli has his back. Not sure what Hubs was thinking on that PS. At least the team came together for a win.

Markstrom wasn’t the problem. This game shows why sometimes save % is a useless stat. I wouldn’t blame him on any of those goals, he came up big to give them a chance to win. I’ll take that all day.

Ffs sit Looch, his arse should have been stapled to the bench after giving the puck away for that Canuck goal. Play 49! We could use his speed, even if it’s with Duehr and Lewis.

4 goals on 16 shots total including OT I believe. It's like Torts said 'I'm a little tired of the 25% rule'...

Yeah you are right. Save % means poope. Good luck in the PO's with 4/16. If you make it. Thinking about food.

Must be nice never having to worry about the playoffs, being able to get a jump on the draft, never having to play meaningful games after Christmas. Life as a Canuck fan is so simple.

Bring on the Ducks! They’re playing a back to back and got kicked by the Oilers last night.
Not sure how the Preds keep winning with all their injuries, kids getting it done for them. Maybe Sutter should take note and put 49 in over 17, doesn’t make sense for Pelts to sit and watch.

Yeah you are right of course. Flames fans know nothing of mediocrity or circling the drain for 20 years.
