Sam did say they got in late last night and didnt get a morning skate in. They probably needed that first period to get the blood circulating.

They really turned it on around this same time last year. That may have been the best period they’ve played since the playoffs. All 3 of them. GG double shifted them

I'm honestly not sure. I remember blaming Panarin while also thinking they had to even it up before the period ended. They did and now they have the momentum. They need to come out the same and bury Florida. If they miss the playoffs it will be high comedy.
