Up 2 goals? Nah, he's good. If it was only 1, he shouldn't be going for it.

Would agree with this logic nearly all of the time. I'm scared of this team's ability to blow third period leads and there is literally zero margin for error now. Seemed like an unnecessary risk to me, but I'm being outvoted significantly.

That's actually why I started using intermediate sticks. I like the whippy sticks, and when I'd by an 80-85 senior, I'd have to cut it down and it'd be more like a 95 so I started buying intermediate 75s and I don't even have to cut them down at all.

In the Show, players usually get huuuuuge shipments of sticks before the season starts, my guess is they are manufactured specifically to the players dimensions. When I was at the Lightning, I befriended the guy who ran the "equipment cage" which had leftover gear from all the guys who were traded or not resigned and there were boxes of like 200 sticks in there. I was using a lot of Teddy Purcell and Tyler Johnson twigs when I was working there. Purcell's curve was ridiculous, like the old Crazy Ovi. Also still rocking my Ryan Callahan RBK skates lol he was the only dude with skates small enough to fit me. Got them right before I bounced in 2016. After 7 years though they're finally starting to fall apart so I gotta snag some new wheels soon.

Hahaha Newfs are known partiers. Booze is engrained in our culture, and even DNA, for the most part haha

Ryan Clowe used to have an invational golf tournament here in the city every summer and all the Newf NHLers plus loads of others would come to it. We have a world famous street here, called George Street, that has the most bars and pubs per square foot of any street in North America. Every year Clowe would have that golf tourney the same weekend as George Street fest and the players would always be down there everywhere having a good time.. including Bugsy who I ran into and chatted with. He ended up going back to his hotel with a chick I knew haha.

I've been waiting for the Jarry news. Just didn't expect him to remain healthy after all those reports.

Yeah I just think these guys have doctors and specialists easily at their disposal... it's possible it's not related, possible it is.

Hard to expect him to remain healthy regardless. Every March or April he's out...and he takes time to get his game back... Was starting to again the past week. Fn Ground Hog Day.

I don't think he's looked anywhere close to the the player from earlier in the season. Jesse Marshall was talking about it on the radio the other day. Said his motions side to side and up and down are slower.

From my untrained eye, he just hasn't been as fluid as before. Marshall was picking apart a couple of goals where he said Jarry was much slower in his motions. I don't know.... Just sucks.... They'd comfortably be in a playoff spot if he were healthy all year.

It'd be a damn cool story if he gets in the game(for Dallas of course), but how in the hell can the NHL allow that in a game that could have playoff implications?
