I hope it's true.

Need him to rest up and go be a new dad.

Childbirth is definitely a crazy time and very mentally draining. Hockey aside, here's to a healthy newborn and Mother. 🍻

Big Floyd fan BTW.

Tampa's cooked.

They've ran out of gas.

- BINGO!

They do look like they've been running on fumes for some time now.

looking at the stats, Leafs tilted the ice in thier favor, so naturally a lopsided loss

Leafs started out pretty good. Sorokin made some big saves but then leafs made a couple bone headed mistakes and nyi started to clog up the neutral zone and blocked a ton of shots. Leafs got frustrated and mailed it in.

You know what's embarrassing?

Leafs Nation tonight.

With that horrible loss to a desperate team, we are now only on pace for a 109 point season.

We're currently 4th in the league.

Our magic number is 18 to lock up home ice advantage in the first round.

That means that if we go 7-5 for the rest of the year (58% win% - we are currently at 66%), then Tampa needs to go 8-1-1 (85% - they are currently at 63%) to catch us.

And we are doing this without a recent Conn Smythe and Selke winner, who is coming back soon.

But forget about everything I just typed - let's hear how this is a terrible team, our defence sucks (5th in the league in GA/GP), our goalies suck, this team has no heart, they can't win, waffles, Courtnall for Kordic, Yolanda Ballard, waffles.

Seriously, you motherBozakers, this is why we can't have nice things.

- Atomic Wedgie

Ya thats nice and all but it doesnt change the fact that the 3rd period was embarrassing.

Sorokin was excellent and some weak bounces helped the Islanders win. Ah well. It sucked but I mean, Islanders had something to play for. What did Montreal have to get up for the Lightning? Tampa just giving home ice away.
- Aaron_85

They've been to three finals and have won two cups recently.
Ya just cant compare tampa no showing to the leafs...or most teams
Imo
Onto the next game

Ohtani went at trout, gave him two great pitches to hit, he just couldn't connect.
Great battle.

Bleacher report off-season prediction 🤭
Vancouver Canucks:
Continue Reckless Spending
Every year the Vancouver Canucks seem to operate like a team that thinks it is closer to competing than it is, either signing or trading for a player who does not fit with where the team actually is, usually on a regrettable contract. That makes them a perfect landing spot for Toronto's Michael Bunting. A good player who will probably get overpaid in a thin free-agent market and will not meaningfully move the needle for the Canucks. This is the perfect match.

this is wild

If you aren't impressed, you should be. Mike Trout has had 3 swinging strikes in only 24 of his 6,174 career MLB plate appearances!

another way to put it, Trout has 3 swing stike at bats, once every 257 at bats ..lolz

Shohei Ohtani's last sweeper to strike out Mike Trout literally broke the 20-80 scale. 87 mph with 17 inches of sweep after averaging 99.6 on the heater that inning. Combined with the pinpoint location on the outer edge, that slider was as close to a perfect pitch as it gets.

a very intense game where you have to stay very focus on the action, the game moves very quickly, games are usually very short also.
