In the last thread, someone posted really unflattering stats about Sandin.

I saw an even uglier tweet this morning about Chychrun - Ottawa's record before him and after they got him, and same for the Coyotes.

If anyone can find it, it's not pretty.

anyone else feel like it’s not as much fun without the constant threat of an arbitrary ban?🤦‍♂️

it just doesn’t seem as exhilarating and naughty 😭👎🏿

the Sens were making some ground, really pushing for a playoff spot.
then Brady kuchuk took the team on his back cuz of all the leaderships and pulled off a nice 1-5-1 run to lock down the fail

Maybe Chychrun isn't the Bobby Orr of hockey after all. May have to wait for Spats to confirm that though.

He’s on pace for 20 assists in an 82 game season.
Sandin is on pace for 112 points, and minus a million.

Sens are 3 - 6 with 5 straight losses
Coyotes are 6 - 3 with 4 straight wins

Not terribly weird, if you think they are going to drop Willy to the 3rd in the playoffs, centred by O'Reilly, to have three solid scoring lines.

IMHO, of course.

- Atomic Wedgie

Well Matthews specifically told Keefe he wants Jarnkrok on his line for the foreseeable future.

And in his case, it has worked well.

So maybe a little opportunity to see if Matthews and Jarnkrok can have some magic while Kerfoot water-skis behind them.

Interesting - do you have a link to an article or video of this?

Edit - never mind if this was where you got it from (although there is no quote only the reporters claim of what Matthews "revealed" to the coaching staff):

Keefe said it after the game on sat. He said matthews was pretty adamant about playing with jarnkrok

I read something about it as well.

Bunting vs Jarnie…seems a no brainer to me.

Ya I found an article and I like J-Roc with Matthews a lot. I like it more than Bunting the way the refs just ignore any infraction against him and then him pissing the refs off.

I read it from the Athletic but I believe there are quite a few articles out there right now. Keefe said it after the game apparently.

Then AM also said "He has one of the prettiest releases in the league"

I have noticed a little chemistry, would be nice if it worked out longer term.

AM on his own line with Jarny followed by

JT-Marner
ROR-Nylander

could be nice, at the very least a nice option to use if plan A fails.

I can definitely see Jarnkrok staying in the top 6 but I’d be surprised if Kerfoot stays instead of Willie. ROR with Lafferty and Kerfoot or Cookie would do well against Stamkos, Colton and Paul with Kampf and whoever’s left against Perry and friends.

Yeah maybe Kerfoot is a placeholder for now, maybe Keefe wants him to finally pot one and get the monkey off his back.

I agree. Bunting doesn’t seem to finish as well. Calle seems more stable and a little more intelligent than Bunts. Plus none of the physicality is lost with Jarnkrok.
Either Willy or Marner up there and I’d be interested to see what they can do.

These are good problems to have! Remember when the Leafs were doomed because they didn't match the Oilers contract and resign Zach Hyman! Good times!

So what you are telling me is Matthews is a petulant, spoiled arsehole who is demanding to have things his way, and Keefe is a lame duck coach who is too wussy to stand up to his players?
