I love you for this, Cushie. - Atomic Wedgie
Such a great movie!
That being said you might want to be careful proclaiming you love a post from a former mod or you might end up ostracized! I feel like the popular opinion currently is former mods were power hungry, random threat issuing, and generally not nice people who didn't understand trolling and require questions posed in the theme of WWF wrestlers....
Something like 'Hey Wedgie brohter - what 'cha gunna' do when 24 pythons wrap their mean words up and around you?".
And before anyone gets upset this was 100% sarcastic and a joke.

Not terribly weird, if you think they are going to drop Willy to the 3rd in the playoffs, centred by O'Reilly, to have three solid scoring lines.
IMHO, of course. - Atomic Wedgie
Do you think Willy will end on the 3rd line for real? I'd be a bit worried he may not take kindly to it based on the year he is having and see it as a bit of a slap in the face. I'd love to be wrong and hear him say he'll play wherever if it means the Leafs win but I'm just not sure he's that guy. Maybe?
If it's true though having a real big scoring threat on 3 lines is huge and he would get some defensive matchups perhaps he and others on that line like a ROR could hopefully exploit!
I feel like it's weird to have this much depth up front on a Leafs team - a good weird but weird still. lol

Depends if the Leafs make it out of the 1st round or not?

Didn't we drop* Willy to 3rd line last playoffs?
Or maybe the playoffs before?
*"drop" is probably not the best word here. "Strategically placed" is better. |

The Leafs are 5th best in the league for goals against per game, and literally a 10th of a percentage point away from being tied for 3rd.
Woll has a .938 sv%
Samsonov has a .917 sv% (6th best in the league for starters)
Murray has a .905 sv%
I know this goes against everything we've been taught as Leafs fans, but maybe it's time to BeLeaf. - Atomic Wedgie
Great reg season stats.
Time to beleaf will be when they advance to the 2nd round |

Its not like willy will be playing with scrubs, every player needs to do whatever and play wherever is needed to help this team win.
That being said, not a big fan of how keefe does things |

I don’t care where he is as long as the leafs win and he gets 18-20 mins a night. I’m sure he would gets shifts with top lines even if he was to start on the 3rd. |

Does ROR get Willie or does Matthews. I think it’s Matthews and ROR gets Kerfoot or someone on the 3rd to give them a strong defensive line with some offensive upside. |

Apparently Nylander asked Keefe to play with the speedy guys, to help him get skating again.
Love to hear it. |

Ya I believe so but he wasn't having the season he is now. That being said and as someone else said it's probably a bit of a nothing burger on what line any of them is on as long as they get their minutes and PP1 and if the game is tight and the leafs are behind they can load up a super line.
Again all good problems to have which still seems weird to me. lol

Remember the Penguins used to play Phil by himself on the third line, giving him great matchups. |
