How bout scoring chances FOR per 60? That stat seems to be missing for some unknown reason. If I'm keeping one over the other I'm keeping Tippett in a heartbeat over Frost. I'm not saying they are getting rid of either and I'm not advocating for them to get rid of Frost, but Tippett seems to be around the puck at all times whereas Frost seems invisible a good part of the time. I guess he's making subtle plays cause I just don't notice him all that much. Cap going up to 95 million year after next! I hope our GM (whoever it may be) knows what to do with the extra cap space!

That's the issue. For some reason with some Flyers fans they have to compare! It can't just be that the Flyers have two good young talented players who both have the potential to be even better. This fantasy narrative that you have that Frost is invisible a good part of the time has been completely debunked. Frost detractors are just too proud to admit how they've been wrong about Frost as a player. So they have to keep on inventing an alternate reality. |

They are two young and up and coming payers. Why wouldn't they be compared to each other? I hope they both have success! I'm not a Frost hater at all. He seems to be playing better lately and I hope that continues, but Tippett almost seems as if he has the potential to take over games whereas I don't see that from Frost at all. I hope they both keep improving! |

I certainly hope they keep both. Need 4 centers and 8 wingers each night. Flyers need to hold onto the ones with actual talent. |

The Flyers should get a viable NHL center in this year's draft at the very least. |

That and a top pair d-man are the most pressing needs for this team. I actually think they are pretty good on wing. That's assuming TK and Farabee are 100% next year. Tippett, Foerster, Laughton, Allison and then some of the younger players on the Phantoms. They are pretty young and you have some good talent there. |

I don't know what you're talking about. Myself, Bil and others have given you and all the other Frost detractors plenty of stats and factual information. You dismiss it. Why would they be compared? Why do they have to be compared? Yes, you are a Frost hater! The comment that he seems to be playing better lately proves it. He has been playing well all season. You don't see that from Frost at all? LOL Did you watch the game against the Canes? Where Frost had two primary assists? At least the Frost detractors can't say that he pads his stats against the bad teams with that one. |

The Flyers had a chance to draft a potential top pairing defenseman last draft. RH to boot. They went with Gauthier. |

Yeah I thought they should have gone d there as well. Hopefully, Gauthier develops into a stud center. |

I think Frost has a couple of levels in him still. He has only played 1 full year. |

You're right .. its really Frost's doppleganger from the multi-verse that we have been watching all season. In your correct reality Frost is a difference maker! The coach is holding him back, his line mates can't finish, he is not given enough PP time, etc. etc. We are talking about what we physically see on the ice and you are quoting vague metrics tracked by a high schooler in his parent's basement, but we are the ones making up a fantasy narrative! You just can't make it up
Look, despite what I have said about him, I like Frost, I really do. Its just that I don't see him being a top 6 forward on this team. Hope I am wrong. |

Jackasses at ESPN shouldn't be allowed to cover hockey. I'm labeled a Frost hater apparently even though I don't see it that way. No sense in fighting it. |

Yes, I think Chuckles figured his team needed offense and scoring, and besides he cornered the market on RHS defenseman with his trades after consulting NHL 2K |

Most Cup winning teams have that guy. Tampa has Hedman and the Avs have Makar (Flyers didn't want him).

Your reply here should be on comedy central. I have never described Frost as a difference maker.
Only in your world are the metrics that have been posted concerning Frost, vague or tracked by a high school kid in his basement. Then you insinuate that others are making up a fantasy narrative.
You're the guy who said that Frost is an AHL player and you have the nerve to tell someone else that you can't make it up! You just did! You made all of that up! None of it is reality. None of it. Hope you are wrong? When have you ever been right! About anything.
Examples of what you physically see on the ice are that Frost is an AHL player. Ristolainen is the Flyers best defenseman and one of the best in the league. Charlie McAvoy isn't one of the best defenseman in the NHL. That's what you or should I say "we", whomever that entails, see physically on the ice.

The last 40 games have seen both players improve and look to be regular NHL'ers. That is what all Flyers fans want. Frost has things to work on but he is on pace to get over 40 points this year. That is good production for this first full year in the NHL.
I do not really care how long it took to get here. He is here and he is trending up. Same with Tippett. That's all that matters to me. - mickel25
Same here. We have some daily frost haters in here but all in all frost has risen his overall game and he will only get better. The kid was a solid pick. I see him getting to 50-60 points next season and really progressing his game. Tippet as well.
We have soke good complimentary pieces on this team and a fee more coming up within the next year or two. If we can get lucky snd hit on a fee good draft picks we will at least be an exciting team to watch in the next few years.
Frost and Tippet are doing great. Hopefully they can gel and grow together. I can see frost feeding Tip and TyFo and forming a solid NHL line. |

What this guy said! No matter what frost does there are a handful of haters on here who refuse to say he is an NHL quality player, which he clearly is.
Realistically, this is his first full season and he is doing just fine. He will only continue to get better.
Basically they need to sit down and shut up.
The kids are playing damn good hockey right now |

I hope cutter will be a good player but jiricek is a stud.
Why do the flyers continue to pass on phenomenal Dmen? |

I want Morgan Frost to workout but when comparing Frost vs Tippett, Tippett is currently and unquestionably the more effective player on this bad team. |

I just saw that the Pens lost again. They are officially out of a playoff spot as of now. Saint Ronny may be following Chuckles to the unemployment line soon. He is getting bamboozled over on the Pens blog. |
