So with Briere in attendance, not one guy did a single thing after what sounds like an incredibly dirty play? |

Send Foerster back down. Sounds like the Phantoms need him more than the big club.
Briere needs to put his foot down and make that happen.

agree, send down for next set of games. Have to say he looks like a real good pick so far.

Good morning Flyers Buzzards. Been out of pocket for a few days. Didn't see the game on Saturday. Looks like I missed at least an entertaining game. Any takeaways worth noting? |

I was at the game. Errson let the first goal in on Pitts first shot. You knew it was going to be a gad game. My kids had fun only because of Melvin.
When is Emil Andre coming over? |

Hopefully Briere’s visit to LHV showed him the need to replace Lappy with a coach who has a better understanding of how the NHL game is played in 2023.
But I’m not holding my breath. |

To Oilers: Hart, Provy, Laughton, Seeler + pick(s), or bottom 6 type player/prospect
To Flyers: Draisaitl, Campbell
If Oilers say that's not enough, then swap TK for Laughts. I was just thinking that Laughts would better address a team need for them if they should get put out of the playoffs again this year. Flyers could also add one of our middle/bottom 6 type forwards or a B level prospect. Draisaitl turns 28 in October, which on the surface doesn't seem to ideally fit the Flyers' rebuilding timeline. But with his playing style, I think he'll be a very productive player well into his 30s. I'm not a big Campbell fan, but Flyers take him to help the money work. And he can be the guy through the rebuild years. |

The Flyers are not in a position to trade any of the few and precious draft picks that chuckles left |

Draisatl is a proven elite superstar (perhaps top 3 in the game right now) that's worth more than any future prospects in the draft, save for maybe Bedard, and even he is still a question mark.
That said, why would EDM even do this? |

I believe Torts already mentioned he’s staying with the Flyers until Friday. I could be wrong but that’s what I swear I heard in the “he’s always hurt” presser. |

That hit on Marody was ugly. I really hope that he is okay. Lappy had every right to question the officiating with that being a no call.

It’s always a challenge for a rebuilding team to ship bad players out and good players in. What costs absolutely nothing? Bringing in a coach to groom to help the organization take the next step and the Flyers never, ever do this. It hasn’t been done since John Stevens. |

Torts said the plan was to have tyson up for this stretch as the phantoms didn't play much. and they would be sending him back down once the phantoms schedule ramped up again. no clue if the plan has changed though. Torts mentions the possibility of calling a d man up before the end of the year as well.

So bill stated yesterday Philly would be very active in the ufa market because 8 mil in cap space. Why? Just spit balling here wouldnt it be better to rid team of players that don’t fit a rebuild timeline. And just maybe play some of the plenty of eligible young players. Bank the cap space and maybe use that at the trade deadline as major asset to acquire picks/players that is the trend with under cap teams recently. |
