Hear me out:

Captain Mark Pysyk. Dual threat RW and RD. Can he play goalie? Probably. Almost certainly.

Yes.

Endothelial won’t sign if Pysyk is playing goal.

Just when you think they have things figured out and are ready to finally move on from 10m LOG, they'll lock up Girgs, Jost, Greenway for 8m with term.

No one on the Sabres PK should be adding that as a resume bullet.

Have heard Sabres goalie Devon Levi’s visa paperwork was settled earlier this afternoon and he’ll be good to go with the team

That's Cool, seems to always take the Sabres a extra day or so with Visa Paperwork

Wonder if they are in on any NCAA free agents this year. So desperate for D, I'll take anyone who can skate.

Maybe, discussed earlier, but would mean not a single practice. That's asking a lot.

Canisius looks solid. Great period overall for the Griffs. Solid goaltending too. Maybe we should just sign that kid at Canisus as another depth goalie in the organization.

Good work. Given what I've read, that sounds very accurate to me. That's a solid number I would imagine in comparison with the league.

Amazing how much money is thrown around for so few eyeballs. On a dollars per eyeballs ratio, the Sabres at $20 million per year stack up well against most MLB teams and their deals.

It also goes to show how irrelevant the Buffalo market is when it comes to the NHL's decisions for TV. If Buffalo were to get a 50 rating, which nobody ever gets, that's not even 300k households.

Compare that to a market like Chicago, which has 3.4 million TV households, and it only takes a 10 rating to exceed that 300k number. Also, Chicago can match Buffalo's "average" number with a less than 1.0 rating point.

Even a city like Pittsburgh, at 1.1 million homes, only needs around a 3 rating to match Buffalo's "average" number.

The main problem is it doesn't count Southern Ontario which I know a lot of people watch from there because a sizeable percentage of people come from there to watch games/are season ticket holders.

The "bigger" areas in Southern Ontario could just as easily be claimed by Toronto, though. If you were to remove the border, Buffalo likely gets Fort Erie, Niagara Falls and St. Catharines, which maybe adds another 100k at most. The bigger cities like Hamilton and Mississauga would go to Toronto for sure.

A better argument might be for Buffalo and Rochester to be combined, the way markets like Greenville and Spartanburg SC are, though they are closer to each other.

Nance is fine and all, but I think Kevin Harlan is the best CBS has. NBA on TNT when he is paired with Reggie Miller? They put Breen, JVG and Jackson in the rear view. I’m talking all time. They’re up there with Marv Albert and the Czar of the telestrater Mike Fratello.

St Catharines alone has 406K people. Niagara Falls has another 390K. Fort Erie is little more than a last minute stop before Buffalo at like 30K.

This is Nantz's last year calling the Final Four. Ian Eagle is taking over for him. I was hoping it would go to Harlan, but I think he's got a deal with Westwood One Radio for it.

He might be the best one working today regardless of sport. Especially since he calls multiple sports.
