Anyone with half a fooking brain can see what is wrong with this team over the past 1-1/2 season now.

I have watched thousands and thousands of games over my 50 years and played in thousands more. To sit there and say we are not smarter then the ones running the team is just fooking wrong. I would bet that the fast majority of us could run the Sabres as they stand today. is it that hard to run a Organization that has done nothing but lose for the last 12 years?

I get that you want to have an upbeat look at things and I do too. I believe the future of the team is bright if they make some changes NOW, but JFC when do we start to hold the GM and Ownership accountable?

How dare you be realistic and pragmatic. You have to be a cheerleader like Powerslave or else you are wallowing in your own self pity.

Let's be realistic then and stop describing anything that occurs here as pragmatism.

Thats not true, once and a while I come across a statement that is sensible and pragmatic. Its not often and I have to read those ones 2-3 times because someone is actually making sense

If Dahlin wants north of $10mm does that mean he doesn't want to be here?

If Adams pays him, is that a slap in the face for the players who took less?

What non winning talented player has gotten paid the big bucks and it ends up working out?

Almost NHL off season - the Sabres favorite time of year.

Not sure such reasoning exists.

Who was the one that turned Neuvirth and Lindback into quality tenders for a while? Irbe?

What's all this whining about Ostlund?

He has two more years on his SHL contract. Development coaches work with him like they do everyone else.

so Tim Kennedy checking in on him once a month will do him just as much good as the rochester staff checking in on him daily

He had 5 NHL playoff appearances, 3 went deep and 25 points under his belt.

I should clarify what talented player that never made the playoffs got paid and it worked out?

question, how does Mikes Bales justify his job
- TheSabresTaco

It’s the defenses fault.

yeah sure it is.

So goalie A (opposition) can make 8/8 HD saves and our goalies can make 2/10. Super (frank)ing duper.

This is what I get for listening to (frank)ing Marty this afternoon.

It's not him directly, it's more of him being in the lineup means we see less and less of the Brysons and Clauges of the world.

The main issue to me...the best ability is availability and if he keeps having these injuries that contract will not be great for us...

it may not be *him* but it's his existence itself. Which is equally as perplexing.

Perhaps this is evidence of a Catalyst Vibe? This is big (frank)ing news and I need to start Vibealytics.com

In short, this team is still ridiculously thin.

And you guys stay here and wallow and piss and moan and cry and b!tch and complain TO NO AVAIL.

IT MEANS NOTHING. AND IT CHANGES NOTHING. THEY'RE GOING TO DO WHAT THEY FEEL IS BEST. LIKE IT, DON'T LIKE IT, BE REASONABLE ABOUT IT, FLY OFF THE HANDLE. IT DOESN'T MATTER. NONE OF YOU ARE SMARTER THAN THE ONES RUNNING THE TEAM. NO ONE IS PRIVY TO ANYTHING GOING ON BEHIND THE SCENES. YOU KNOW NOTHING.

I don't have rose colored glasses on. They have work to do. But what are you gonna do, just come in here everyday, for hours and hours on end and (frank)ing CRY ABOUT IT?! Jesus.

Buy a (frank)ing sports team and show us all how to do it.

I get attacked for having a more upbeat attitude about the future of this team.

I'm out. Again. Sit there in the corner and suck your thumbs and pout. ✌️

Yes, this is actually what fan forums are for. To discuss their team, good or bad. Not sure why that bothers you? Seems odd.

I mean your telling me a sabres prospect under contract for the sabres is better off long term with a developmental coach checking in on him once a month when he is 20, next march, vs being under rochester staff for an entire season

we are talking about 16th overall not a 7th round dart
