I'm really keeping an eye on LA. They were the only team in playoff spot with a minus goal differential, but their underlying numbers and special teams are good. Now they have Korpisalo. 6-0-2 in March. They are good.

Only team that they’ve played during this stretch hat I would consider an impressive win was against Col, and even they have their issues right now.

From what I remember, they play hard….but I’m not afraid of them

Problem is cops get videoed and scrutinized because once in awhile you get a rouge cop who abuse the badge (out of how many in the country?). There isn’t a job/Career less appealing in the United States than that of a police officer. So they won’t be bothered with stuff like this and I can’t blame them. I’m not sure if I was offered a million bucks a year to be a cop if I’d do it

A friend of ours son just became a NY cop a few months ago. Haven't seen him yet since he joined the force. Curious to pick his brain on what he has seen so far

No D man has ever had 4 pts in period for the NYR, until last night.

Why is insane and they were all trying to get Miller the hat trick

Need to get Fiala back. Vilardi returned a few weeks. Once Fiala comes back, they become even more dangerous. Like NJ, do you trust their goalkeeping? Korpisalo and Copley or Vanecek/Blackwood/Schmid, which one you taking?

It’s just amazing how many weapons the Rangers have. It’s why I’m so confident, and excited. An NHL team can only stop so many players. We can beat you in about 25 different ways

That was awesome! I couldn't believe it. I've seen that a lot for beer league guys with 2 goals, but I don't know that I remember seeing it in the show!

I thought the one goal was tipped by Goodrow. It definitely tipped off something, could’ve been a penguin tho

It’s down to 19

I don’t think anyone could’ve ever have expected them to go b2b shutouts (with how they look sometimes)

You could see GG being smart a bit with Fox, he only had 18 minutes last night. Conserve that gas tank, that has be his career low in TOI for a game

Tomorrow night is going to be a real good measuring stick for us. Home and home with Carolina should be very revealing. LETS GO RANGERS!

They dropped the ball. That’s the team that should’ve moved heaven and earth for Meier (like we did with Kane). They lost Patches and Svetchnikov, who were arguably their 2 most counted on guys for goal scoring entering the season. They remind me of the Hank era teams. Ironically they have a few former players from those teams. Never good enough to win anything of substance.

No time these next few days to watch, unfortunately couldn’t watch last night either but saw some highlights. Obviously there can’t be anything negative to say when your last 2 games you’ve outscore the opponent 13-0, with that being said, even a depleted CAR time will be a better test than the last 2 games. Igor looked great against PITT tho and I think if we’re going anywhere in the postseason he will need to be in last years form.

I saw a BUNCH of his interviews while with Toronto. He's a very religious guy. Doesn't surprise me. Also, doesn't surprise me that he let others go first.

All truth.
I like to think even the perception that Igor is rounding back to form will make other teams grip their sticks a little tighter. Especially now that we have the potential to give him leads!

So you weren't a fan of the Rangers ditching theirs?

To show you how big that Carolina comeback over Philly might end up being:

If Philly hadn’t blown the lead with .3 second left Sat, the Metro standings would be:
NJ 70 games played, 97 points
Car 68 games played, 96 points
NYR 70 games played, 92 points

Rangers play Canes twice this week and NJ once next week

I don’t think it’s worth the trouble of not wearing them. Bad PR is no good. When I see athletes wearing purple it doesn’t bother me 🤷🏻‍♂️

Boom....hear that sound. That's the sound of the window slamming shut on the Pens for the test of the decade. Lost to an ECHL guy making his first NHL start. We put the nail in the coffin Sens just hammered it shut
