Not knowing Lindgren's status, I'd be fine sitting him out for another game or two. We aren't making a deep run without him.
He needs to be 100%. - Fenrir
Trust me, the Rangers will not play Lindgren if he's anything less than 100%.

I agree, if the trainers say 2-4 weeks give him 5. Mikkola and Harpur as mentioned earlier are getting great experience incase of an injury in the playoffs. I don’t think Lindgren vs Harpur will win us or lose us the CAR game, let him get some more rest. F we were in a downward spiral and needed a jump, maybe a different story.

Again, lets temper our excitement, were playing an AHL team. - aecliptic
Absolutely true. But if we played sloppy and won the game 2-0, everyone would say:
"Hey we played down to their level"
Crushing them and literally running them out of our barn was the only appropriate response here! And I am happy that we're starting to peak and get on a roll at the right time of the season!

Oh I said it yesterday that we needed to blow the doors off of the Preds and not play down to their level.
Id say crushing them 7-0 is pretty much on par with playing vs. a team whose roster is down to AHL players since everyone is either hurt or got traded at the deadline.
Yet at 6-0 they had Nashville higher in the deserve to win meter.. this is why everyone gives you poop about these posts amigo. - MeltingPlastic
I know. The 6-0 win Vs Pittsburgh might deserve to be a little high for the Rangers. But MP and NST kinda both break it down the same. The Rangers had the minority share of shot attempts, scoring chances, high danger chances and expected goal differential. So the Rangers talent made up for that gap. After the 2nd goal the Penguins pressed and the tandem of Jarry/DeSmith was terrible.
I had fun watching it. Happy the Rangers won, but I don't think the MP and NST are wrong.
