Is Stamkos a 60 goal center?
Matthews will NEVER score 60 again - make a bet with you me. I said it last year. It was lighting in a bottle last year with how good he was at scoring. He is a great center but it's not all about goals. The guy couldn't keep his pants on (literally) to become captain. Brady will fight anyone, Matthews will fight to get to round 2 (would be really though?)

If it was a one on one game, I'd lean towards Matthews, but it's a team game and the affect Brady has on his team is far and beyond what Auston brings (imo). Brady Tkachuk in the playoffs will be a mix of Tom Wilson and Gabriel Landeskog

You didn't offer a bet but feel free to offer and I'll let you know if I accept.

Honestly, being above .500 is a plus haha. But I'm including loser points as loses too.

I'm wondering when the season ends if we find out debrincat has messed up hands or something. Getting tons of chances but never finishes! Don't know if it's just "gripping the stick" too right or what, but something is off with him this whole season. Snake-bitten for the majority of this season.

Agreed. It feels like nearly every time I've heard Debrincat's name this season it's after he's whiffed on an open net. He's missed far too many conversions for his pedigree.

Why blame the coach for a player not progressing? JBD and Thomson have so little ice time in Ottawa the coach might not even remember them. Would you give the coach credit for the progress of other players like Stutzle or Sanderson. Absolutely not!

NHL coaches have very little power over players. The only power they have is to control the ice time given to each of their players.

If a player is not getting ice time, you can be certain everyone in the dressing room knows exactly why. If a player's last shift was problematic, maybe he sees less ice time.

They also control the game plan and from my perspective, it seems we were lacking one a lot of the time in the last few years.
