Glad to see Foerster not looking out of place. In the race to bottom, it will be a battle with MTL for 5th. Going to be tough catching CHI for 4th. Expect VAN and AZ to get more points then the Flyers.

Been away for awhile (no I wasn't banned). Saw the last 5 minutes of the game via NHL Network cause of the fact that Buttman signed a deal with the devil (ESPN). Laughts should be dismissed from this roster for taking that dumbass penalty with 7 seconds left. I actually like some of these young players. Foerster is almost cocky and I like it. There seems to be some good young players on this team and I'm giving Farabee a pass for this season. Please get rid of Laughts, Hayes and Angelo. Make this a truly young team and make TK the captain if you don't get a boat load in return in a possible trade for him. I actually like Lemieux too, but of course he is playing for his NHL career at this point.

Torts doesn't get a pass for this two defensemen thing. This is the problem with old head coaches. AV did this kind of crap too. Just admit that you're wrong and go back to 2 forwards and one defender. It's just downright asinine at this point. I mean, look at your friggin OT record and make the necessary changes! Thanks!

Thankfully Arizona has gotten hot and moved above us in the draft order to 7th. But San Jose is in free fall losing 6 in a row and now sitting at 2nd. I don't see how we catch either Columbus or SJ at this point in 1-2 who are 12 and 10 points below us respectively.

We have games against Columbus, Chicago and Montreal we need to lose (they're all above us). And lose the games against Boston, Dallas, and Montreal. Maybe then we have a shot at a Top 5 pick. There are only 5 points separating #5-9 right now.

One that stands out to me was Lukas Krajicek in the playoffs 2010. Coach Jam couldn't even use him.

I remember all the people defending Myers saying he had a descent hickey IQ. weird how he had all the physical tools, but now has failed to stay in the lineup for multiple teams. nashville who always seems to develop good d men, gave up rather quickly
