just like any other event in life lololl

a funeral..? pfft, just another excuse to grab some booze.

i can't tell if it's just my family or everyone in nj but after funerals we always seem to go to a diner or restaurant and then to a bar like the mafia.

I haven't gone to many funerals (which is a good thing lol), but this kinda feels like the logical thing to do, as long as it doesn't turn into ugly binge drinking just to try to cope with the situation...

the only time a red head can be kind of cool or at least ok to go out in public (does not apply to Ed Sharan, I guess...)

Get it.

Pat.

Short.

I will show myself out.

Hey guys, honest questions.

I have a job opportunity, after being off of work for a calendar year.

But it starts at $125-135,000 salary. With a 10-12% bonus structure, a 2% retention bonus ($1000 per every 6 moths), $20,000 relocation allowance, cell phone allowance, absolutely full benefits. And like a 7.5% RRSP CONTRIBUTION RATE

But it’s remote and I have to move there?? And I’ve worked there prior in the oil fields!!

EDIT: I’ve been off due to serious depression and anxiety. But I LOVE to work!!

I’m a change agent and make the tough corporate decisions

that depends on a lot of things, personally I find it does sound like an interesting opportunity but I wouldn't be comfortable in saying "go for it!" or "don't do it!".... your current job, salary, residence, where you would be moving, your family situation, health situation, etc., there's a lot to consider.

Hey Pat, thanks!!

I’m single now for 2years after a 16 year relationship, it’s just Jagger and myself. I’ve worked up there before and I’m in London just sitting here on LTIR and want to work. I do t have any kids and this seems like a great opportunity to work and make some serious coin that’s more than double of the Soutbern Ontario rate.

so were you supposed to start working again in London soon? anyway it sounds like you're really motivated for the change, which is awesome

I'd still give her a good ol' pros and cons analysis though, as much as you don't want to overthink it, it's still nice to get the whole picture for this kind of decision.
