This was best 60 minutes since that streak end after Trouba meltdown. Really 2 giveaways that capitalized they on and they pretty much shut them down. Probably since Lindgren injury and TDL non sense

Priority 1: Shesty still seems a bit off. That second goal I wish he saved it. Just don’t have the same confidence as I did last year right now. That said, he’s been much better the last week or so

Priority 2: Kid line needs to score more. The effort is undeniable, they were awesome tonight

Priority 3: Lindgren needs to come back. But at the same time they don’t really need to rush him

They get all 3 of these things, look out

I think we learned quickly, especially me, that the opponent knew what was coming when they were out there. Keep them together on PP for now and see what happens down the road.

Im more excited to get a goal out of the 4th line. Those tough minutes from them are so big for us, chipping in a goal is massive.

Jimmy V has been a godsend. He’s so versatile and I feel like he got faster since he left, and now came back to NYR
