For sure. The Leafs are one of the most skill and fast teams in the league and they're literally the only team in the league that doesn't have a single 5 on 3 all season. It's laughable, really.

But I think they've done a decent job overcoming it, too. I'm glad they're not relying on the refs to actually do their jobs, though. So it's not like the playoffs change in rules will overly effect their gameplay.

Teams already do it. They target Holl. They dump the puck into his corner knowing they'll more than likely beat him to it or at least force him to work quickly knowing full well he can't think fast. They skate at him knowing they'll get around him.

Other than that, another thing teams do is attack our goalies. Hopefully Schenn is in and gets rough on them.

Agree. If it was my choice I'd say the lameout was a product of its time and time to move on. Give both teams a point and call it a draw.

Thankfully 3 on 3 prevents a lot of lameouts.
