They never stop forcing. Insane speed when they use it.

Thats the biggest takeaway I had watching their Cup run. Leafs do that we have a good shot this year.

I fully understand about not getting calls. So do a bunch of Hockey fans of many different teams. By the same token, there are teams that overcome that. My favourite of all time being the 2002 Canadian Women's Gold Medal team. Classic.

For sure. The Leafs are one of the most skill and fast teams in the league and they're literally the only team in the league that doesn't have a single 5 on 3 all season. It's laughable, really.

But I think they've done a decent job overcoming it, too. I'm glad they're not relying on the refs to actually do their jobs, though. So it's not like the playoffs change in rules will overly effect their gameplay.

I'm hoping the 11-7 is entirely about getting Gustafsson ice time so that if Rielly gets hurt, he knows the system and can fill in for him. Playoffs NEEDS to be-

McCabe-Brodie
Rielly-Liljegren/Schenn
Gio-Schenn/Liljegren

If they want a bit more offense, take Schenn out and put in one of GUstafsson or Timmins.
