Time has certainly made people forget how awful ties were and how celebrated the shootout was when it came in because of that.

I never at all minded a tie game. Usually a case of damn we fought em to that. Just wait till the rematch!!

Now I can say what I didnt like was when teams chose to sit back and just play keep away to burn the clock to get a point.

I'd rather go back to the old point system and do a 10 min 4 on 4 OT. Neither team scores leave it at that. Get rid of the liser point and euro trash shootout nonsense.

That's what I'd prefer. 10 minute OT would have to be collectively bargained and the players won't agree because it's more work for the same pay. Which I can understand.

Is it though? They already do 5 min so its an extra 5. And how long does a shootout skills competition take? At LEAST 5 minutes. And a gimmick decides a teams fate and points? I dont think the players would really have that much of an issue

Apparently it is man. They're not into it. 5 minutes of play is different than 3 shootout attempts. Just think, if you worked for billionaires and they were like hey can you guys just work more for no extra pay. It's a game to us, but it's also a workplace. A workplace is like a sandwich, no matter which way you turn it, the bread comes first.

You can flip Marner and Nylander as to how they're running. Kerfoot can move up to 3LW if Knies can't handle it.

Didnt mind a hard fought tie.

Sam Cosintino thinks he's the greatest thing since sliced bread, all because he got fired a long time ago and had to find a new gig, and that gig was Junior hockey. So he thinks his opinion is better than everyones because of it. And it shows in the way he looks down his nose at everyone. I don't like him.

I can't wait for Sportsnets NHL deal to end. I need it back in TSN's hands.

The chair was left on top of the stairs because she physically had to be carried down to use the restrooms. Which are only located downstairs
