1-8 was literally perfect and there should never have even been a consideration to change it. That gives 8 different playoff slot possibilities.

Personally, I'm not a fan of what some are suggesting, in the 1-16 playoff format, but that format does offer total drama from game 1 to game 82. If the league ever did do this, then the season schedule would need to change, first.

I like 1-8 but I really like 1-16. I feel the higher seed should be able to choose between a 2-2-1-1-1 or 2-3-2 format though if you go to 16. There are too many brutal travel possibilities.

They never stop forcing. Insane speed when they use it.

Yeah, travel is the number one reason I got against it. The season schedule would need to be massively revamped, too. As close to equal games against all teams as you can make it.
