Last night when Shesty threw the stick I commented that Hank never got that fired up. My mind went to the Water Bottle Incident. How could I forget the the net toss? Rick sent these classic moment to me last night.

Shesty has to be careful there imo. The ref was skating right around near that area. I get it he was pissed but sheesh if that hits the ref we got problems

Thought he was going to get Unsportsmanlike for that.

The net flip was the first thing i thought of when you mentioned that last night, but forgot about the water bottle
Would be nice. Who does everyone prefer to play come playoff time? I think I'd much rather play Carolina than NJD. Especially now without Svech. - NYR11

agree. Carolina all day. We have their number
How’s this tho. We win the division and the Islanders get 7th seed😬
The Rangers have the sixth best winning percentage in the league right now. Do they have some flaws sure they do but so do other teams. They have 15 games to work on their overall game. I’m looking forward to to see what they have in the end.
How did the isles look last night? I imagine not great lol Buffalo is the team you guys need to worry about. I think Pittsburgh is toast - Slimtj100
Very good in the first period and then Matt Martin took an excessively stupid penalty, which was almost immediately followed by a Parise kneeing penalty (blatantly unintentional but a penalty nonetheless) which led to two goals on the ensuing PP's and that was pretty much all she wrote.
Hey now! Love this answer. Although, I want Colorado. Georgiev celebrating the way he did in MSG after that shootout win left a bad taste in my mouth. I want to see him suffer

they looked great in the first, i was up watching the knicks (who are back) and flipping back and forth.

The Martin penalty really derailed the entire game. LA scored two quick ones and added a fourth before the 2nd ended and that was it. Isles got one back in the 3rd but it was too big of a hill to climb.

It’s fine as long as you win the next two. That’s a tough game to win, LA is good

I would've been happy with a point. By the third period I was just hoping they could make it to OT
ANA/SJS are entirely beatable but the pressure is on now. Coming home from CA with less than 4pts would be an abject disaster and they've now put themselves in a spot where they need to win two in a row.

Ryan Lindgren skated on his own this am and is not practicing. Means he will miss his ninth straight game tomorrow. - airjan23
unfortunately i think this gamble will have failed. he can go retroactive LTIR so we can call someone up if he can't go and i think that's what they'll do at this point

The thing is, even if he went on LTIR, I dont think they could have called anyone up and made the Kane trade until they did. Matter of fact, I think if they use LTIR space, they would have lost the ability to prorate the salary.

Had to have been re-aggravation during that practice. He was probably ready to play once they deemed him ok to practice, I think two games ago that was?
Too bad they didn’t have a crystal ball. It’s irrelevant unless he misses the season. We couldnt ice a cap complaint team if he did come back sooner, I believe (if they added more salary) I guess they could’ve called up Jones in the meantime? But Harpur is the 7th D anyway

Yea I think you’re right. It wasn’t as simple as we think it was. Plus he had to have had a re aggravation, or else he wouldn’t have fully practiced that day
