Some here will always be glass half full, some always half empty. Its just tiresome when the half empties try to ruin everyone's day over and over. And the name calling REALLY has to stop! - TommyGTrain
This goes to what I wrote at the beginning of this thread. There are some in here that believe there is no way forward for this team...no matter what...because the numbers say so.
Anything that is said positive is followed by a "yeah, but..."

I like how the Rangers are so secretive with the Injuries that Ryan Lindgren has missed 7 games now. But he was somehow not placed on LTIR. Freeing up space would have too easy for this team. |

Well, everyone was rather concerned this morning about being caught by the Wildcard teams. So, I assume they didn't want to lose him for 10 games if he could be ready in 8.
Did you not just post a comment this morning about how important he is to our line up? |

Apparently he is. But again, not putting him on LTIR approaching game 8 doesn't make a whole lot of sense, given where they were at the deadline and after dressing 16 guys. But hey I get it, Rangers can do no wrong. Ever. |

That sarcasm is wasted on me. I am not one that sees no wrongdoing. I fully understand what our shortcomings are. But, since I am not in a position to do jack poop about it, I choose to cheer for the team regardless of those issues. It's not blind faith, just faith that they can recognize and improve upon them. What happened at the deadline has little bearing on this. If he reaches 10 games, he can be put on LTIR retroactively. If they had put him on right away what were they going to gain by the deadline? $150,000? What would that have done for us?
How come the decisions of the people with the knowledge and experience to be employed by an NHL team are ALWAYS wrong? |

Because Tom can throw up some stats that are based on shot attempts. They def have sucked ass since the deadline, no denying that. Some of us are annoyed about it, which i get, but there is one of us actively routing against his team to prove his point and ecstatic that he will be right if they fail. |

Tough to score when you're constantly outshot, out attempted and out chanced. |

But, they're not. Often, yes. Not always. Yet, your defense of your opinion is always the same.
And, even outshot, out attempted and out chanced a team can still win. |

Dawg, I make the wrong decision all the time. Hence why I'm still watching these games. |

Wow, same old stuff here. Unbelievable.
They still have almost 20 games to work on things. I guess they should have canceled the rest of the season after they lost to the Jets in game #3. Crazy how this place is so down on them.

If you’re as self aware as you claim, you’d be more humble in your opinions. A little humility goes a long way.
Then again, this is the same poop you pulled your first time around, so maybe I’m the fool for thinking things could change… |

Can you explain in detail what's offensive about me using analytics to show in some detail the Rangers aren't as good as some make them out to be and that I want them to play better? |

not one person here had my back, not a single one of you, when I did ALL THE HEAVY LIFTING fighting Tom, and now he's doing the same crap to all of you.
its actually great just watching the games and not commenting all day about this team though

This response is a perfect example.
No mention of analytics from me. Not even a mention about the team.
Purely an observation on you and your character. |

How? Because I'm annoyed the Rangers are playing some of their poorest hockey on the year in the midst of being 5-5-2 in a 12 game stretch and 4-5-1 in a 10 game stretch. That's not something to be celebrated. It's not good. |

You had the same sentiment during their hot streak. And before your ban. Arrogance is how I’d describe it. |

When they were doing good he directed the chatter towards Blais, Goodrow, Leschysyn etc.

Its pretty funny how far some people go just to get their point across to someone but that someone will never see the point, hence why people "Fight". Its like Tic Tac Toe, there will never be a winner.
I think emotionally disagree is more like it. |

I acknowledge their deficiencies and still choose to believe that they can turn it around. Be a fan however you want, but don’t rain on my/others parade because I have hope. |

But isnt this a blog to discuss the team? Good or Bad? So the only valued opinions and the only ones to be posted are those of rainbows and sunshine? |

Which had been discussed. If he comes back tomorrow, it’s eight games missed, not 12, which would have been the case if on LTIR. But the longer he is out, the stronger the view that he should have moved to LTIR. Would have allowed for Jones or Robertson to be promoted. |
