He's saying, I assume, that dominating play IN A SINGLE, PARTICULAR GAME doesn't guarantee winning THAT PARTICULAR game.

Of course in any 1 game can be random. Last year was fun. Last year is over. The Rangers are just as bad 5 on 5 last year, with a slightly worse power play and goaltending closer to league average. Why are we comparing last year to this year? (You're not I know that.)

Winners are defined how they play, they dont make excuses. National TV?? Really?? I didnt know this was the first time the Rangers played on National TV. Do you think they were more worries about their make up than playing the game??? WTF???

Our back up goalie has been out playing our starting goalie!!

Using the 3rd game in 4 nights really isnt an excuse cause they just came back from 4 days off.

My point is that even though we have all these warts, we still have the 8th best points percentage in the league. Period.
We give the puck away WAY too much. We have defensive scheme issues. We have trouble scoring 5v5. Shesty is not as dependable as last year. And despite all of that and more, we win nearly 2 out of every 3 games this season. Period.

A playoff team clearly. The point I was making is the rangers play has to improve so they can be successful long term. Last years playoff success isn’t a formula for consistent championship level seasons

It took us an hour and 15 minutes at the border, then still wanted wings. So, didn't get to the game until the exact moment Buffalo scored just before the midway point. Saw all the action, though!! Tons of NYR fans in attendance. Nice to hear Igor chants on the road!!
All I need is a victory while I'm in the building Thursday!!!!
