Meier without an extension is risky business, New Jersey felt they can assume the risk as he potentially could put them over the top this year.

The Chychrun deal will look bad if the Sabres don’t address their top 4 d-corps in the offseason. I’m in wait and see mode on that.

Demko makes a ton of sense as a bridge goalie to Levi. But they absolutely need to address that as well.

This TDL was also piss poor asset management, the Sabres are overloaded with the same type of prospect all within the same range and the NHL team doesn’t need more of them.

The value of these prospects will drop because the Sabres have put themselves into a situation where other GM’s can just wait Adams out.

Gerbe is bragging this morning that the plan is working, the Sabres has no intention of making any trades this season. Adams inability to adapt to in season success will backfire.

They need to Address:
Olofsson
Top 2 Dman They need another minute Eater and a in case of often injuries to Samuelsson Dman
Okposo and Girgensons and which one to bring back if either. I threw up in my Mouth saying this but if you bring 1 back it should be Girgensons.
And they need to start making Decisions quicker, if they keep on this evaluation path with Olofsson and a few others they will start having a build up of prospects in Rochester. Maybe not so much this year, but the year after could see 4 or 5 more hit Rochester.

Can’t see a college goalie driving that push. Has that ever happened? College goalie right to the nhl and successful. Not to mention the lack of quality d men and lack of team d in Donnie’s system.

They have 3 major issues holding them back and I can’t see 2 college players fixing that this season or next.

Helly, Oetinger, Knight all needed one year in the AHL.

Levi can get his couple of games this year then be thr workhorse in Rochester next year.

Also say he lights it up and get them to the playoffs…he can’t play in the playoffs
