Vinnie played a great game. Lots of line shuffling, didn't see a whole lot of 12 in the 3rd.

I mean a majority of the home games they played with half empty barns with half of the people rooting for the other team.

I get the playoff drought has turned some people away, but the fact that they are the third highest scoring team in the league and fans are just starting to pack the place now kind of sucks.

Even on TV you can see a lot of Oilers jerseys in the 100 section.

Caps game was more or less the same.

His biggest problem is that be doesn’t have an elite or even above average trait.

He’s average at just about everything though, and that in itself is valuable in a sense as he doesn’t kill you at even strength.

Donnie also had Joker and Vinny on the ice with the goalie pulled and 1 minute left. Maybe vinny earned it but Joker is absolutely useless in the offensive zone (didn't Donnie learn anything about having Joker on the ice vs. CLB with the emptY net?).

I know I wasn't saying this in the Fall, but Mitts has turned into an excellent NHL player. Thought he had one of his best games of the year tonight and got robbed by Skinner at least twice. Casey might be one of the best guys on the team on the wall with the puck or cycling in the corners. Hope he ends up sticking around and I can't believe he'll put up 50 points this season. Perfect 3rd liner that can play up in a pinch and contribute on PP 2.

Thats a tough one, need to bury chances and it didn't go their way tonight
